Nautikarta is a directory of businesses that work on boats. The details come from the businesses themselves, from us using public sources, or from other boat owners. We do not check them. We don’t broker jobs, we take no part in any job, we make no recommendations and we rate no one.
A listing is therefore no statement about the quality of a business and no sign that we have anything to do with it. Contracts are made solely between the boat owner and the business.
Every listing has “Something wrong?”. There you can report a correction, take over the listing or demand its removal. If an email address is on file for the listing, we will on request send a link there with which the business can change or remove its listing itself. Without an address on file, a person does it by hand.
It also works informally via admin@nautikarta.app. We don’t ask for a reason.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
As a service provider we are responsible for our own content under the general laws. However, we are not obliged to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored, or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Liability is only possible from the time we become aware of a specific infringement. As soon as we become aware of such infringements, we remove the content concerned without delay.
Listings contain links to the businesses’ websites, over whose content we have no influence. We cannot accept any liability for this third-party content; the respective provider is always responsible. As soon as we become aware of infringements, we remove such links without delay.
The content we create is subject to German copyright law. The map imagery is produced with OpenFreeMap and the OpenMapTiles schema from OpenStreetMap data, licensed under the Open Database License; the sources are credited on and below the map. The map library MapLibre GL is licensed under the BSD licence (nautikarta.app/maplibre-lizenz.txt).
